In honor of the Vancouver Olympic games (OK it is a bit of a stretch), today's post takes us north of the boarder to look at the resources offered by the Canadian Honey Council. The prairie provinces are know for fantastic honey yields due to the long day length in the summer and abundant nectar sources such as Canola. In the "Download" section you will find the IPM management chart that was handed out in the MSU Bee School last month. Thanks to Ian for this tip.
Hivelights is the Canadian honey industry publication and back issues are available here.
On the consumer page you will find educational resources that are valuable if you find yourself presenting on beekeeping to school groups.
